Downhill Ski Resorts

Cascade Mountain Ski Area Located on Exit 106 13 miles east of Baraboo. Cascade has a base elevation of 820 ft with a 460ft vertical drop and 10 lifts. You can enjoy 28 runs the longest being 5280 ft. Cascade Mountain has great snow making capabilities to guarantee good conditions at all times.

Christmas Mountain Village Ski Hill - Located in Wisconsin Dells. Christmas Mountain has a 250ft. Vertical Drop with 40 acres of Ski-able terrain and has 3 lifts. CM also allows snowboarding.

Devil's Head Resort & Convention Center - Located just south of Baraboo. Devil's Head has a 500ft vertical drop with 28 ski trails, 10 chair lifts, four rope tows and one magic carpet lift, with four new trails. Devil's Head also offers Snowboard & Ski Rentals including new Elan Parabolic skis.

Cross-Country Trails

The Baraboo area has many miles of cross country ski trails available. Be sure to call ahead before you make your trip to be sure we have enough snow on the ground.

1. 17 miles of trails at Devil's Lake State Park - Most are groomed. XC trail information is available at DevilsLakeWisconsin.com's Skiing Page.

2. Mirror Lake State Park has approximately 20 miles of Trails.
