Hi,

You would think that since I work on the web all day I would have a fantastic personal website. But alas, no.  The downside of working on the web is that I have no time.

Why have a homepage?  I don't have a clue.  I suppose if someone is every looking for you or you have family a long distance away, this is a great way to communicate.  I think I have a distant friend or two that check in on occasion to see if they missed my funeral or not.  (NOT YET!)

If your last name is Mayoleth and you thought your were the only one, your ALMOST correct.  But there are a couple of us here. . .

My Boat
Picture of Nigel Dennis Explorer Kayak
So I got into kayaking.  How many boats does it take to get up to a sea-kayak?  Well, I started with a CD Breeze, Then a Peception Catalina ( barge) , Then a WS Capehorn 17 (defective), Then a WS Cape horn 15, and finally have my NDK Explorer.  Here Is Our Kayaking Gallery

When Did You Ever Write A Song? (Real Audio File)

I know. It's so sad. . .  But I too used to be in a band. :)  Clinging to youth like the last breath of clean air.

What did I ever do?
Everything here is probably out of order. Hey, I'm not applying for a job. . . .

I get asked a lot about my education when I see new web clients.  Well,  I did get my G.E.D.. . .

I went to school in Baraboo.  Dropped out at 16, then got my GED when I was 18 or 19.

At 17 I worked for a time for Allan C. Hill Entertainment running phone rooms.  (it was a dark day) Did get some good business education however.  Oh, yeah I also lived in a 65 ford Van and traveled all over the east coast.  I was also Starved and froze and had a gun pointed at me once. Yippee.

I sold Vacuum Cleaners for Kirby. (sad day number 2)

Then I worked all over the place for many years

Farm & Fleet, Brother in Laws, Old School House, Chula Vista, Papa's Place, Swiss Colony (2 days), Cascade Mountain, Devil's Head, The Landmark, The Saloon.

Somewhere in here I decided that many employers have no respect for their staff. (no surprise there I am sure)  I started getting pretty left leaning then.  Read Orwell, Dos Passos, Dickens, Shakespeare, Desmond Morris, Robert Heinlein, Introductory Lectures by Sigmund Freud,  Mahatma Gandhi's autobiography, and all sorts of other page turners , . . . . .

Went to MATC commercial art program.  Quit due to personal issues.

Had Enough Yet????????????????????

Then I found some "respectable work" at The International Crane Foundation and then Devil's Lake State Park. then  I dived down to Wal-Mart

Then I wrote for the Baraboo Sun a bit, Then it went under.

>> Somewhere in here I got my EMS-BASIC certification.

Then I went to work for Wollersheim Winery until about 1996. It was while I was working here that I started my Web Development business. Let me say here, I like what a computer can do, but I am not "into" computers.  In fact I don't care in the least how they work.  I just want them to work.

So to wrap up.  I quit school, got married, had children, then job hopped and picked up a little education everywhere, got divorced, got married again, then started my own business in 1995, had another child, and now am very busy working from home. :)

Who Died?
Jay Layton Mayoleth. (My Father)  Died at the age of 33 due to Cancer.  This pic is from 1973.  Some wizard would tell you that God had a plan. . . Bullocks.

Sept. 4th, 1947 to December 1979

Also Died

Jay's Mother - Albertha Mayoleth
Jay's Sister - Barb Mayoleth

>> Interesting note.  This family (mother, son & daughter) all died of cancer.  Mother first, then one year later the son, then 3 years later the daughter.  Odd how they all died at about the same time.  It hints to exposure to something when they shared a home.
