City of Sim-Baraboo for 2001

Here is a new way to explore our little community! Now you can be our city planner!

After looking at a recent industrial development plan for the city of Baraboo we thought it would be fun try building a Sim™ version of Baraboo and trying out some of the cities growth recommendations.

Should we preserve the Baraboo river valley to the east of town or should we build factories?

Should more housing be located by Devil's Lake? Maybe we should do some re-designing of older parts of town and make better use of current industrial zones. You've seen it in the news, now you can try it out and see what happens in Sim-Land.

Sim-Baraboo is based on the 2000 city map and is surprisingly accurate. If you live in Baraboo you will most likely be able to find your street and even the city block you live on!

You must have SimCity 3000™ to use this file. Basic instructions are included. However you should be experienced with adding/installing .SC3 files. Download and install at your own risk.
